Job Description

The Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Ticketing Assistant. This is a part-time position with a focus on weekend shifts, supporting a vibrant schedule of concerts, sporting events, and other live performances. We are looking for reliable team players who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to providing excellent service to our patrons. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for those looking to start a career in event management or gain valuable customer service experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process ticket sales accurately using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Assist patrons with ticket inquiries, exchanges, and general event information.
  • Handle cash and card transactions efficiently and responsibly.
  • Resolve customer service issues with professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized ticketing counter area.
  • Collaborate with other venue staff to ensure smooth event operations.
  • Adhere to all venue policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
