Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Water & Wastewater Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cleveland, OH. This role is crucial for delivering sustainable and innovative solutions for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities
- Perform engineering design calculations, prepare specifications, and develop technical reports for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, and collection/distribution systems.
- Conduct hydraulic modeling and analysis for water and wastewater networks.
- Assist in the preparation of engineering plans, drawings, and other project documents.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including environmental scientists, civil engineers, and project managers.
- Participate in client meetings and communicate technical information effectively.
- Oversee project phases from conceptual design through construction support.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering design.
- Proficiency with hydraulic modeling software (e.g., WaterCAD, SewerCAD, HEC-RAS).
- Strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes and technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related engineering field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or actively pursuing licensure.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design software.
- Prior experience with public sector clients or utility companies.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
