Job Description
Join Tesco as a Full-Time Warehouse Picker Packer in Barking, Greater London, and become an essential part of our logistics team. You will be responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders, ensuring they are ready for timely dispatch. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to established procedures.
- Verify product quantities and ensure items are in good condition before packing.
- Operate manual handling equipment safely (e.g., pallet trucks, pump trucks) after training.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Good attention to detail for accurate order picking.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of English for safety instructions and communication.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar fast-paced environment (not essential, but a bonus).
