Are you eager to kickstart your career in the automotive industry? Mycar Tyre & Auto in Warrnambool is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Tyre Changing Assistant to join our busy team. This is an entry-level position perfect for someone with no prior experience who is keen to learn and grow. We provide full training on all aspects of tyre fitting, balancing, and related services, ensuring you develop valuable skills in a supportive environment. If you’re physically fit, have a can-do attitude, and are ready for an immediate start, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified technicians with tyre changing, balancing, and rotation for various vehicle types.
- Learn and apply safe workshop practices and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workshop area and tools.
- Support the team with general workshop duties as required.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections under supervision.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to customers.
Required Skills
- No prior experience required – full training provided.
- Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly.
- Good physical fitness and ability to lift and move tyres.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license (preferred but not essential).
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic mechanical aptitude or interest in automotive care.
- High School Certificate or equivalent.
