Job Description
Join the Riverbend Mushrooms team as a Mushroom Picker! We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to help us harvest our premium range of mushrooms. This is a casual position with flexible day shifts, perfect for those seeking consistent work in a clean, climate-controlled indoor environment. No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided to ensure you become proficient in our harvesting techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully pick and harvest a variety of mushroom types according to quality standards.
- Sort and pack mushrooms for distribution, ensuring product integrity.
- Monitor mushroom beds for optimal growth and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene protocols.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily production targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical fitness to stand, bend, and lift light loads for extended periods.
