Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented YouTube Channel Manager to join our growing digital team. This is a fully remote position responsible for the day-to-day operations of our YouTube channels, focusing on efficient video uploading, strategic optimization, and audience engagement. You will play a crucial role in expanding our reach and ensuring our content performs optimally on the platform. This role requires a strong understanding of YouTube’s ecosystem and a passion for digital video.
Key Responsibilities
- Upload, schedule, and publish new video content across assigned YouTube channels, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and content calendars.
- Implement comprehensive YouTube SEO strategies, including crafting compelling titles, descriptions, and tags to maximize discoverability.
- Research and integrate relevant keywords to improve search rankings and audience targeting.
- Optimize video thumbnails to increase click-through rates, coordinating with design teams as needed.
- Monitor and respond to comments and community engagement on videos, fostering a positive and active viewer base.
- Analyze YouTube analytics to track performance, identify trends, and provide insights for content strategy improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with YouTube best practices, algorithm changes, and emerging trends to inform optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with content creators, producers, and marketing teams to ensure seamless content delivery and promotion.
- Manage end screens, cards, and playlists to enhance user experience and channel navigation.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with YouTube Studio and content management.
- Proven understanding of YouTube's algorithm, SEO principles, and best practices for video optimization.
- Excellent written communication skills for crafting engaging titles, descriptions, and community responses.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple content schedules and deadlines independently.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Google Suite or similar productivity tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment and manage time efficiently.
- A passion for digital video and the YouTube platform.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Previous experience managing a YouTube channel with a significant subscriber base.
