Join our dedicated team as a Linen Assistant, playing a crucial part in the logistics and supply chain for both hotels and hospitals in the Lismore region. This is a full-time, on-site position where your contribution directly impacts hygiene standards and operational efficiency. As a Linen Assistant, you will be responsible for the efficient processing and distribution of high-quality linen. We are looking for individuals who are committed to precision and teamwork, ensuring that our clients receive clean, fresh linen on time, every time. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are fully equipped for success in this dynamic role.
Key Responsibilities
- Sorting and counting soiled linen accurately for washing.
- Loading and unloading industrial washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment.
- Operating automated and manual folding machines safely and efficiently.
- Inspecting linen for quality, damage, and cleanliness, ensuring it meets our high standards.
- Packing and preparing clean linen for dispatch to hotels and hospitals.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment at all times.
- Adhering strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborating effectively with team members to achieve daily targets.
Required Skills
- A strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and repetitive movements.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a commercial laundry, warehouse, or logistics environment.
