Job Description

Are you a highly motivated and ambitious individual looking to kickstart a rewarding career in recruitment? Hays is seeking a Trainee Recruitment Resourcer to join our dynamic team in Falmouth. Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and attract top talent through various channels including job boards, social media, and our internal database.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess their skills, experience, and suitability for open roles.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, providing excellent candidate care.
  • Support senior consultants in managing the recruitment process, from initial contact to placement.
  • Update and maintain candidate records within our CRM system.
  • Research market trends and identify potential new business opportunities.
  • Assist with scheduling interviews and preparing candidates for client meetings.
  • Contribute to a positive and high-performance team culture.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport.
  • High level of motivation, drive, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • A desire to learn and develop a career in recruitment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service or sales-oriented role (any industry).
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms for professional networking.
  • Basic understanding of the recruitment industry (not essential, full training provided).
