Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our remote Human Resources team as a WFH Human Resources – Remote HR & Recruitment specialist. This fully remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere within Australia, supporting our diverse workforce across various business units. You will play a crucial role in managing HR operations, assisting with talent acquisition processes, and contributing to a positive employee experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a foundational understanding of HR principles, and the ability to thrive in a virtual team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Assist with full-cycle recruitment efforts, including job posting, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and offer letter preparation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs and policy reviews.
  • Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires and departing employees.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and company policies.
  • Prepare HR reports and presentations as required by management.
  • Collaborate effectively with other HR team members and business stakeholders in a remote setting.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 1 year) in a Human Resources or Recruitment role.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience with HRIS software (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).
  • Familiarity with Australian employment law and regulations.
  • Prior experience in a remote work setting.
  • Certification in HR (e.g., AHRI certification).
