Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Information Processing Clerk to join our team in Rockhampton. This is a full-time, on-site position operating Monday to Friday, offering a fantastic opportunity to commence a career within the public sector. As an Information Processing Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely data records, ensuring the smooth flow of information essential to our departmental functions. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate and efficient data entry into various government systems and databases.
  • Maintain and update physical and electronic records, ensuring compliance with departmental policies and privacy regulations.
  • Process incoming and outgoing correspondence and documents.
  • Assist with the preparation and compilation of reports and statistical data.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of all information handled.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team as required, including filing, scanning, and photocopying.
  • Adhere to all departmental procedures, policies, and legislative requirements.

Required Skills

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.

Preferred Qualifications
