Job Description
Are you passionate about fashion and have a keen eye for detail? UPS Supply Chain Solutions is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic E-commerce Vintage Clothing Sorter to join our team in Boulder, CO. In this entry-level role, you will be responsible for meticulously inspecting, sorting, and preparing vintage clothing items for online resale. This is a hands-on position within a fast-paced warehouse environment, ideal for individuals who enjoy working with clothing and contributing to a sustainable fashion economy. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary – just your enthusiasm and a great eye for quality!
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and process incoming shipments of vintage clothing.
- Carefully inspect each item for quality, condition, and authenticity, identifying any flaws or unique characteristics.
- Sort clothing by brand, type, size, era, and condition according to established guidelines.
- Clean and prepare garments as needed (e.g., steaming, minor stain treatment, lint removal).
- Accurately input item details into our inventory management system, including descriptions and condition reports.
- Photograph items for e-commerce listings, ensuring proper presentation.
- Organize and store sorted items in designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily processing targets and ensure efficient workflow.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a discerning 'eye for fashion'.
- Ability to identify different clothing styles, fabrics, and potential brands.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and system navigation.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs regularly throughout a shift.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- No prior experience in sorting or warehousing is required; full training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, fashion, or warehouse operations is a plus, but not required.
- A genuine interest in vintage clothing and sustainable fashion.
- Familiarity with various clothing brands, eras, and textile care.
