Job Description

In this rewarding role, you will travel across the Minto and wider Campbelltown region, assisting our primary carers in providing essential support to clients in their homes. Key Responsibilities
- Assist primary carers with daily living activities for clients, including personal care, meal preparation, and light household tasks.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
- Support clients with medication reminders and mobility assistance.
- Accompany clients on appointments, errands, and social outings.
- Maintain clear and accurate client records and report any changes in client condition to the care team.
- Adhere to all care plans, safety protocols, and company policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development sessions.
Required Skills
- Genuine empathy and a compassionate nature.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the designated service area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care or support role (volunteer or paid) is advantageous but not essential.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care, Disability, or Home and Community Care).
