Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Scrap Metal Handlers at our Wetherill Park facility. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to start immediately in a dynamic industrial environment. As a Scrap Metal Handler, you will play a crucial role in the processing and sorting of various metals, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. No prior experience in metal handling is required, as comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided to the right candidates. Key Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, and move scrap metal materials using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Sort and categorize different types of metals (e.g., ferrous, non-ferrous) according to company standards.
- Operate basic processing equipment after receiving proper training.
- Assist with general yard maintenance and cleanliness.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
- Perform visual inspections of materials for quality and safety.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.

- Basic understanding of English for safety instructions and communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehousing, manufacturing, or industrial setting (not mandatory).
