Job Description
Are you passionate about events and looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, exciting environment? The Star Gold Coast is offering an incredible opportunity for an Unpaid Intern – Event Planning Assistant. This entry-level internship is designed to provide aspiring event professionals with a comprehensive introduction to the intricacies of event management within a premier integrated resort. You will work alongside our experienced events team, assisting with various aspects of event planning, execution, and post-event analysis. This is a fantastic chance to learn from industry experts, build your network, and contribute to memorable events.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the events team, including data entry, filing, and scheduling.
- Assist with research for vendors, suppliers, and event concepts.
- Support the coordination of event logistics, such as venue setup, catering, and audiovisual requirements.
- Attend client meetings and site inspections to observe and learn about the planning process.
- Assist with the preparation of event materials, including presentations, proposals, and signage.
- Provide on-site support during events, ensuring smooth execution and addressing immediate needs.
- Help with post-event tasks, including debriefs, feedback collection, and report generation.
Required Skills

- Previous volunteer experience in event support or customer service roles.
