Key Responsibilities
- Complete an intensive training program covering pest identification, biology, treatment methods, and safety protocols.
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest problems and potential entry points.
- Apply appropriate pest control treatments safely and effectively, following company guidelines and industry regulations.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, explaining services, findings, and prevention tips.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including materials used and recommendations.
- Operate and maintain a company vehicle, ensuring it is clean, well-stocked, and safe.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships with clients.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic and a desire to learn new skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily route.
- Problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail.
- Physically capable of performing duties such as bending, kneeling, lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
- Customer-focused attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer literacy for record-keeping.
- Previous experience in a customer service or field-based role (not required, but a plus).
