Job Description

Showsec International Ltd. is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Event Stewards/Ushers for weekend work. No prior experience is necessary – we provide comprehensive training to ensure you’re fully prepared to excel in this dynamic role. Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist event attendees with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
- Provide clear directions and information regarding event facilities, seating, and exits.
- Ensure the safety and security of all patrons by monitoring designated areas and reporting any issues.
- Manage crowd flow and prevent congestion in busy areas.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve minor issues professionally.
- Adhere to all event procedures, health and safety guidelines, and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with other team members, security staff, and event organisers.
- Assist with emergency procedures, including evacuations, as directed by supervisors.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliability and punctuality, especially for weekend shifts.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes challenging environment.
- A strong commitment to customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate event venues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., retail, hospitality) is a plus but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of first aid is advantageous (training can be provided).
- Availability for a variety of weekend shifts, including evenings.
