Job Description

No prior experience in pest control is required – we offer extensive, paid training to ensure your success. In this vital role, you will learn to identify and seal entry points in buildings, preventing pests from entering and creating long-term solutions for our clients. Key Responsibilities

  • Complete a comprehensive paid training program to become proficient in pest exclusion techniques.
  • Inspect residential and commercial properties to identify potential pest entry points such as gaps, cracks, and structural vulnerabilities.
  • Perform sealing and repair work using various materials like caulk, mesh, wood, and other building materials to prevent pest access.
  • Install and maintain exclusion devices (e.g., vent covers, bird netting) as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, explaining exclusion strategies and answering questions.
  • Document services provided, materials used, and observations accurately.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and company protocols.
  • Maintain company vehicle and equipment in good working order.

Required Skills

  • Willingness to learn and commit to a comprehensive training program.
  • Basic manual dexterity and comfort using hand tools (e.g., caulk gun, hammer, drill).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, crawl in tight spaces, and work in various weather conditions.
  • Valid provincial driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Comfortable with heights and confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in construction, handyman work, or general maintenance is an asset but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
