Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our Tree Ground Crew in Geraldton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves working outdoors, isn’t afraid of physical labor, and is keen to learn a skilled trade. No prior experience is required, as we offer comprehensive on-the-job training, including the potential for chainsaw operation certification. You will be an integral part of our team, supporting our arborists and ensuring site safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist arborists with tree removal, pruning, and planting operations
- Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools, including chippers, chainsaws (after training), and stump grinders
- Clear brush, load wood, and feed tree branches into a wood chipper
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
- Assist with traffic control and site setup to ensure public safety
- Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and supporting colleagues

Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Australian Driver's License (Manual preferred)
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Basic knowledge of trees or landscaping
- Experience with outdoor labor or construction work
