Job Description
Are you passionate about design and eager to kickstart your career in a dynamic, creative environment? Canva is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Paid Creative WFH Intern with an Industry Portfolio Focus. This is a unique opportunity for individuals with little to no prior professional experience to gain hands-on training, build an impressive portfolio, and learn directly from industry leaders in a fully remote setting. We are looking for individuals who are keen to develop their creative skills across various design disciplines, including graphic design, content creation, and visual storytelling, all while contributing to real-world projects that impact millions globally. Full training and mentorship will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior designers in developing visual content for various marketing campaigns and platforms.
- Contribute to the creation of design assets, including social media graphics, presentations, and website elements.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate fresh and innovative design concepts.
- Learn to utilize Canva's design platform and other industry-standard tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality designs.
- Gather feedback and iterate on designs under the guidance of mentors.
- Research current design trends and best practices to inform creative approaches.
- Develop and refine a professional portfolio showcasing diverse creative work.
