Job Description

Are you passionate about music and eager to break into the dynamic world of artist management and touring? Live Nation Australia & New Zealand is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Music Industry Intern to join our Perth team. This entry-level internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and invaluable insights into the operations behind successful tours and artist careers. You will work closely with experienced professionals, learn the intricacies of the live music business, and contribute to various exciting projects. No prior industry experience is required; we are looking for dedicated individuals with a strong desire to learn and grow. Full training and mentorship will be provided in an on-site capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with administrative tasks related to tour planning and artist logistics.
  • Conducting research on emerging artists, venues, and market trends.
  • Supporting social media and promotional activities for tours and artists.
  • Coordinating with various internal departments and external partners.
  • Preparing reports and presentations as required.
  • Attending meetings and brainstorming sessions.
  • Providing on-site support for local events or artist engagements as needed.

Required Skills

  • Strong passion for music and the entertainment industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks quickly.
  • Reliable and punctual.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (e.g., Music Business, Marketing, Communications, Arts Management).
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced office or event environment (volunteer or casual work is fine).
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing.
  • Familiarity with the Perth music scene.
