Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Arts & Music Education Programming Intern to join our dynamic team. This entry-level internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the planning, coordination, and delivery of arts and music education programs. You will work closely with experienced professionals, learning the ins and outs of program development, community outreach, and event management within a thriving cultural environment. This role is perfect for someone passionate about the arts and eager to start their career in arts administration and education, with full training provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Education Programs Manager with the coordination and scheduling of arts and music workshops, classes, and events.
  • Support the creation and distribution of promotional materials for educational programs.
  • Help with administrative tasks, including maintaining participant records, processing registrations, and managing communications.
  • Contribute to research for new program ideas and potential community partnerships.
  • Provide on-site support for educational events, assisting with setup, registration, and participant engagement.
  • Gather feedback from participants and assist in program evaluation efforts.
  • Learn about budget tracking and resource allocation for educational initiatives.
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions for program development.
