Job Description

Are you a compassionate animal lover looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity in Oxford? Barking Mad Oxford is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Pet Sitters to join our growing team. This role involves visiting clients’ homes to provide essential care, companionship, and exercise for a variety of pets, primarily dogs and cats, but potentially others like rabbits or guinea pigs. If you have a genuine passion for animals and are committed to delivering exceptional care, we encourage you to apply. Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and capable in all aspects of pet sitting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily feeding and fresh water according to pet owner instructions.
  • Administer medication as required, following strict guidelines.
  • Engage pets in playtime and provide appropriate exercise, including dog walks.
  • Clean litter boxes, cages, and other pet areas to maintain hygiene.
  • Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting any concerns to owners and management.
  • Communicate regularly with pet owners, providing updates and photos.
  • Ensure the security of clients' homes during visits.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines for pet care.
