Job Description

This is an unparalleled opportunity for an individual with no prior drone piloting experience to gain comprehensive training and become a certified drone operator. You will learn the fundamentals of aerial surveying, data collection, and drone maintenance, playing a crucial role in monitoring and maintaining our vital public utility infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
- Complete a structured training program to obtain all necessary drone piloting certifications and licenses.
- Learn to operate various drone platforms safely and effectively under supervision.
- Assist experienced pilots with pre-flight checks, mission planning, and post-flight procedures.
- Participate in aerial surveys of water treatment works, reservoirs, pipelines, and other utility assets.
- Learn to collect, process, and interpret aerial data for inspection, mapping, and monitoring purposes.
- Adhere strictly to all aviation regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Maintain drone equipment, conduct routine inspections, and manage inventory.
- Document flight logs, incident reports, and survey findings accurately.
- Collaborate with engineering, environmental, and operational teams to understand data requirements.
Required Skills
- A strong interest in technology, aviation, and outdoor field work.
- High degree of attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to various operational sites within the region.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable with basic computer operations and learning new software.
