Job Description

Toll Group is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Storesperson Trainee to join our dynamic team in Laverton for casual day work. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to kickstart a career in warehousing and logistics. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided on all aspects of stores operations, including forklift preparation and general warehouse duties. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with receiving, checking, and dispatching goods.
  • Learn to safely prepare goods for forklift movement and loading/unloading.
  • Perform general warehouse duties including picking, packing, and sorting.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Assist in stock counts and inventory management as directed.
  • Operate warehouse equipment under supervision and after full training.

Required Skills

  • Willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks (e.g., lifting up to 20kg).
  • Reliability and punctuality for casual shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current Australian Driver's License.
  • Previous experience in a physical work environment (e.g., retail, hospitality, labouring).
  • Basic computer skills.
