Job Description

Mercure Central Coast Gosford is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Commis Chef (Trainee) to join our vibrant kitchen team. Key Responsibilities
- Assisting senior chefs with food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and cooking ingredients.
- Learning and applying various cooking methods, kitchen procedures, and health and safety standards.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workstation and kitchen environment.
- Ensuring proper storage of food items and ingredients.
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
- Following recipes and instructions accurately under supervision.
Required Skills
- Genuine passion for food and the culinary arts.
- Eagerness and willingness to learn new skills and techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
