Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Return Package Opener. This is an entry-level warehouse position where you will be responsible for carefully opening returned packages, verifying their contents against internal records, and preparing items for further processing. This role requires accuracy, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for those new to warehouse work.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and sort incoming returned packages.
- Carefully open packages without damaging contents.
- Identify and verify the contents of each package against digital records.
- Note any discrepancies, missing items, or damage to products.
- Organize and move verified items to designated staging areas for further processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and follow instructions carefully.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and record verification.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 20-30 lbs), and bend for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment (not required).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
