Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Work From Home Dietitian / Nutritionist to join our innovative virtual care team. In this role, you will provide expert nutritional guidance and support to clients across Canada through secure online platforms. You will be instrumental in helping individuals achieve their health and wellness goals, offering personalized advice, developing tailored meal plans, and fostering positive dietary changes. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual nutrition assessments and consultations for a diverse client base.
- Develop personalized nutrition plans, meal recommendations, and lifestyle strategies.
- Provide evidence-based nutrition education and counseling on various health conditions and wellness goals.
- Monitor client progress, adjust plans as needed, and provide ongoing support and motivation.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records within our secure digital platform.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as part of an integrated wellness team.
- Stay current with the latest nutritional science, health trends, and best practices.
- Participate in virtual team meetings and professional development sessions.
Required Skills
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Dietitian/Nutritionist (Dt.P) designation in Canada, with active provincial licensure/registration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and empathetically.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach.
- Proficiency in using virtual communication tools and basic office software.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingualism (French and English) is a significant asset, particularly for serving clients in Quebec.
- Experience with telehealth platforms or virtual client management tools.
- Familiarity with various dietary approaches and specialized nutrition areas (e.g., weight management, chronic disease prevention, sports nutrition).
- Membership in professional dietetic associations.
