Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as Government Education Support, with a specific focus on school-based initiatives in Horsham, West Sussex. In this crucial role, you will be the bridge between government educational policies and their practical implementation within local schools. You will provide essential administrative, logistical, and communicative support, ensuring that educational programs run smoothly and effectively. This position requires a proactive individual with a keen interest in education, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including school staff, government representatives, and parents. You will contribute directly to enhancing the learning environment and supporting the educational outcomes of students in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a primary point of contact for schools regarding government education programs and initiatives.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining accurate records.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of educational projects and policies within designated schools.
- Facilitate communication between schools, local authorities, and central government departments.
- Gather and analyse data related to program effectiveness, preparing reports and summaries as required.
- Organise and participate in workshops, training sessions, and informational meetings for school staff.
- Address queries and resolve issues raised by schools concerning educational support services.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant data protection and safeguarding regulations.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working within an educational setting or the public sector.
