Key Responsibilities
- Execute commissioning activities for industrial automation and control systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Perform comprehensive testing, troubleshooting, and validation of hardware and software components.
- Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, and clients to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance.
- Prepare detailed commissioning reports, documenting procedures, test results, and any modifications.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on newly commissioned systems.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Travel to various project sites as required, both domestically and potentially internationally.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the commissioning process.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in commissioning industrial control systems (e.g., PLCs, SCADA, DCS).
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering schematics, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Siemens automation platforms (e.g., TIA Portal, PCS 7).
- Knowledge of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP).
- Relevant industry certifications.
- Fluency in additional languages.
