Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Admissions Director to lead our university’s admissions strategy and operations. This pivotal role involves overseeing the entire admissions lifecycle, from recruitment and application processing to selection and enrollment, ensuring alignment with the university’s strategic goals and commitment to diversity. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the future student body and enhancing the university’s global profile. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive admissions strategy to meet enrollment targets across all academic programs.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the admissions team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the evaluation and processing of all undergraduate and postgraduate applications, ensuring fairness, efficiency, and adherence to policies.
- Collaborate with academic departments, marketing, and international relations teams to enhance recruitment efforts and outreach initiatives.
- Analyze admissions data and trends to inform strategic decision-making and identify areas for growth or improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant immigration regulations, UCAS guidelines, and university admissions policies.
- Represent the university at recruitment events, fairs, and stakeholder meetings, both nationally and internationally.
- Manage the admissions budget effectively, optimizing resources for maximum impact.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with feeder institutions, educational agents, and prospective students.
Required Skills
- Proven leadership experience in admissions or a related senior role within higher education.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective admissions strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and admissions software.
- In-depth knowledge of the UK higher education landscape and UCAS application process.
- Understanding of international admissions requirements and visa sponsorship processes.
