Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as an Afternoon Sorter for casual work at our Gold Coast facility. This is a crucial entry-level role perfect for someone looking for flexible hours and an opportunity to work within a dynamic logistics environment. As an Afternoon Sorter, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate sorting of parcels and freight, ensuring they are prepared for timely dispatch. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary – we value a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort incoming and outgoing parcels and freight based on destination codes.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and conveyor belts manually or using basic equipment.
- Scan and process packages using handheld devices.
- Handle all items with care to prevent damage during the sorting process.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily operational targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 20kg regularly.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Reliability and punctuality for afternoon shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications
