Job Description
Are you a budding animator or motion graphics enthusiast looking to kickstart your career? Vivid Creative Collective is offering an exciting Animation & Motion Graphics Internship. This is a fantastic opportunity for an entry-level individual to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced agency environment. You will work alongside our experienced creative team, contributing to real client projects and developing your skills in various animation techniques. No prior professional experience is required; we are looking for passion, a willingness to learn, and a foundational understanding of animation principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior animators and designers with various stages of production, including storyboarding, asset creation, and animation.
- Learn and apply motion graphics techniques to client projects under supervision.
- Support the creative team in developing visual concepts and design elements.
- Organize and manage project files, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas.
- Assist with video editing and post-production tasks as needed.
- Research current animation trends and techniques to keep our work innovative.
Required Skills
- Basic proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop.
- Fundamental understanding of animation principles and visual storytelling.
- Strong desire to learn and grow in animation and motion graphics.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A portfolio or reel demonstrating personal animation projects (even student work is welcome).
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant design, animation, or media program.
- Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator or Cinema 4D.
- Basic knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro).
