Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Bar Staff to join our bustling team for casual night shifts. This role is perfect for individuals looking for flexible evening work in a lively environment. You will be instrumental in ensuring our guests receive prompt, friendly, and professional service, contributing to the memorable atmosphere of our club.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately.
- Process transactions using our POS system, handling cash and card payments with precision.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar area, including glassware and equipment.
- Strictly adhere to all Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) regulations and club policies.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional, and helpful manner, ensuring a positive experience.
- Assist with stock rotation, inventory checks, and replenishment as required.
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve minor issues, and escalate more complex situations to management.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth service operations.
Required Skills
- Valid NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency card.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability and punctuality, particularly for scheduled night shifts.
- Strong teamwork ethic and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic mathematical skills for accurate transaction processing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting (e.g., club, hotel, restaurant).
- Knowledge of various beverage preparation techniques and recipes.
- Current First Aid certificate.
