Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Safely handle, sort, and process various types of batteries for recycling.
- Operate and maintain specialist recycling equipment and machinery under supervision.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Conduct visual inspections of incoming materials and outgoing recycled products.
- Record and report operational data accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Participate actively in all training and development programs.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions promptly.
Required Skills
- A strong commitment to health and safety protocols.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
- Good basic literacy and numeracy skills for recording data.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards learning new skills.

- No prior experience in battery recycling or waste management is required, as full specialist training will be provided.
