Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely handle, sort, and process various types of batteries for recycling.
  • Operate and maintain specialist recycling equipment and machinery under supervision.
  • Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct visual inspections of incoming materials and outgoing recycled products.
  • Record and report operational data accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.
  • Participate actively in all training and development programs.
  • Identify and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions promptly.

Required Skills

  • A strong commitment to health and safety protocols.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
  • Good basic literacy and numeracy skills for recording data.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards learning new skills.

  • No prior experience in battery recycling or waste management is required, as full specialist training will be provided.
