Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Blood Bank Donor Recruiter to join our El Paso team. In this critical sales and outreach role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with businesses, organizations, and community groups to schedule and promote blood drives. Your success will directly impact our ability to meet the ongoing demand for life-saving blood donations in the local community. This role involves both a base salary and commission opportunities based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and establish new relationships with local businesses, schools, churches, and community organizations to host blood drives.
- Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to meet and exceed blood drive collection goals.
- Present compelling information about the importance of blood donation and the impact of Vitalant's mission to potential host organizations and donors.
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of prospective and existing blood drive sponsors.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations) to ensure successful blood drive execution and donor experience.
- Track and report on recruitment activities, donor registrations, and collections.
- Attend community events and health fairs to promote blood donation and recruit new sponsors.
- Educate the public on donor eligibility requirements and the donation process.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all partners and donors.
Required Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Previous experience in sales, fundraising, community outreach, or recruitment.
- Knowledge of the El Paso community and local organizations.
- Experience with CRM software.
