Job Description

No previous experience or certification is required to start; we provide full, comprehensive training. Your primary role will be to provide companionship and practical support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and enjoy a higher quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide warm companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients.
- Assist with light household duties, such as meal preparation, tidying, and laundry.
- Offer support with personal care needs if required (e.g., bathing, dressing – full training provided).
- Administer medication reminders.
- Accompany clients to appointments, social events, or for shopping.
- Report any changes in the client's condition or concerns to the care manager.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of care provided.
- Build positive, trusting, and respectful relationships with clients and their families.
Required Skills
- Genuine compassion, empathy, and a strong desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work independently while following care plans.
- Patience, resilience, and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Must have a valid driving license and access to a reliable vehicle (essential for client travel).
- Right to work in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care-related role (paid or unpaid, e.g., caring for a family member).
- Understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by older adults.
- Basic first aid knowledge or willingness to learn.
