Job Description
Are you looking for an opportunity to kickstart a career in a growing industry? Electrodry Swan Hill is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Carpet Cleaning Offsider to join our dynamic team. This is an entry-level position where no prior experience is required – full training will be provided to the successful candidate. You will work alongside an experienced Lead Technician, learning the ropes of professional carpet and upholstery cleaning, delivering exceptional service directly to our valued customers in their homes. This role is perfect for someone who is physically fit, customer-focused, and eager to learn new skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Technician with all aspects of the carpet and upholstery cleaning process.
- Prepare and pack down equipment efficiently and safely at customer sites.
- Perform basic cleaning tasks under supervision, ensuring high standards are met.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work vehicle and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist with scheduling and logistical tasks as required.
- Represent Electrodry with professionalism and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Current Australian Driver's License (essential).
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good physical fitness and ability to lift and move equipment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role (advantageous but not required).
- Basic understanding of cleaning processes or equipment.
- Residing locally in Swan Hill or surrounding areas.
