Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Chiropractic Clinic Assistant to join our thriving practice in Worthing. This pivotal role involves managing the front desk operations, ensuring a smooth patient flow, and providing outstanding administrative support. You will be the first point of contact for our patients, setting the tone for their experience and contributing significantly to the efficient running of our clinic. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet patients and visitors, managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage calendars, and handle cancellations/reschedules.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage general office correspondence.
  • Process patient payments, manage billing inquiries, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area and patient waiting room.
  • Assist with patient intake forms and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and assist chiropractors with patient flow as needed.
  • Educate patients on clinic services and general chiropractic wellness.
  • Manage inventory of office supplies and clinic materials, placing orders when necessary.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to all clinic policies and procedures.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive, professional, and empathetic demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a customer service or administrative role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a healthcare or medical office setting.
  • Familiarity with scheduling software or electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Understanding of chiropractic principles and wellness practices.
