Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Chiropractic Clinic Assistant to join our growing team in Mississauga, Ontario. This vital role is at the heart of our clinic, ensuring smooth daily operations, excellent patient experiences, and efficient patient flow. You will be the first point of contact for our valued patients, managing administrative tasks, assisting with patient intake, and supporting our chiropractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet patients and visitors, managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, handling reschedules and cancellations with professionalism.
- Manage phone calls, emails, and general inquiries, providing accurate information and directing calls appropriately.
- Process patient intake forms, update electronic health records (EHR), and ensure data accuracy.
- Verify patient insurance information and assist with billing inquiries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and waiting area.
- Assist chiropractors with patient flow, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring a comfortable environment.
- Manage clinic supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
- Handle payment processing and daily reconciliations.
- Provide administrative support to the clinic team as required.

- Proficiency in computer systems and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical office, chiropractic clinic, or customer service role.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Knowledge of chiropractic terminology and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is a plus.
