Job Description
Join The Daily Crumb Bakery as a Commercial Bakery Delivery Driver and become an essential part of our morning operations, ensuring our fresh baked goods reach our customers across Belfast. This role involves early morning routes, providing consistent weekly pay, and an opportunity to be part of a team dedicated to quality and service. We’re looking for reliable, efficient, and customer-focused individuals who enjoy the open road and are committed to timely deliveries. Full training on routes and handling procedures will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a commercial delivery vehicle.
- Load and unload bakery products, ensuring accuracy and careful handling.
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules, ensuring timely arrivals.
- Maintain delivery logs and records accurately.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Represent The Daily Crumb Bakery professionally during all interactions.
Required Skills
- Valid UK driving license (Category B).
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move bakery trays and products (up to 25kg).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Reliability and punctuality for early morning shifts.
- Strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial delivery or route driving.
- Knowledge of Belfast city routes and surrounding areas.
- Experience with temperature-controlled delivery vehicles.
- Customer service experience.
