Job Description
Are you a dedicated and detail-oriented individual looking for a stable night shift opportunity with premium pay? Sodexo is seeking Commercial Kitchen Deep Cleaners to join our facilities team in Chattanooga. This role is crucial for maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in our commercial kitchen environments, ensuring a safe and compliant workspace. Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough deep cleaning of commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, fryers, grills, hoods, and floors.
- Utilize specialized cleaning agents and equipment safely and effectively.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines (OSHA, HACCP).
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to disposal areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when replenishment is needed.
- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard during night shift hours.
Required Skills
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, and reach.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality cleaning.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and operate cleaning equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or kitchen sanitation is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety data sheets (SDS).
- Knowledge of HACCP or other food safety regulations.
