Job Description
Are you meticulous, reliable, and ready to ensure our store remains spotless and safe? Halfords in Dundee is looking for a dedicated Auto Parts Store Oil Spill Cleaner – Retail Maintenance to join our team. This is an entry-level position, and full training will be provided to the right candidate. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, with a particular focus on swift and safe response to oil and fluid spills, ensuring a secure environment for both our colleagues and customers. Key Responsibilities
- Promptly respond to and clean up oil, fluid, and other hazardous spills in accordance with safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Perform general retail store maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste removal.
- Maintain cleanliness of sales floor, stockroom, restrooms, and employee areas.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained, stored, and used safely.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Report any potential hazards or maintenance issues to store management.
- Assist with minor repairs and upkeep as directed by management.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.
