Job Description

BrightStar Care of Rock Hill is seeking dedicated Community Care Assistants to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to provide essential care and support to clients in their homes, promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life. Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and exercises as directed.
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as tidying living areas and laundry.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
- Assist with medication reminders and appointment scheduling.
- Accurately document care provided and report any changes in client condition.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for clients.
Required Skills
- Compassionate and empathetic nature.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions diligently.
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel within the Rock Hill service area.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a caregiving role (formal or informal).
- CPR and First Aid certification (training can be provided if needed).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
