Job Description
Are you passionate about live music and looking for flexible, exciting part-time work? ASM Global is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Concert Merchandise Sellers to join our team in Hillsborough, Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the vibrant live events industry, working evenings and weekends at various concert venues. You will be responsible for selling artist and venue merchandise, handling cash and card transactions accurately, and providing excellent customer service to concert-goers. Full training on our systems and cash handling procedures will be provided, so while experience is a plus, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are most important.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and dismantle merchandise displays efficiently before and after events.
- Process sales accurately using our point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash and card payments.
- Maintain an accurate float and reconcile sales at the end of each shift.
- Provide friendly, engaging, and efficient customer service to all patrons.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, sizing, and availability.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the merchandise stand.
- Assist with basic inventory counts and stock management as required.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic numeracy skills for accurate cash handling.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
