Job Description
Are you passionate about live music and looking for an exciting part-time opportunity? We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Concert Merchandise Sellers to join our team in Virginia Beach. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and enjoy interacting with concert-goers. You will be responsible for selling artist merchandise, handling cash and card transactions, and providing excellent customer service during evening and weekend events. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal entry-level position.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and display merchandise neatly and attractively before events
- Engage with concert attendees in a friendly and professional manner
- Accurately process cash and credit card transactions using a POS system
- Maintain an organized and clean sales area throughout the event
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to management
- Assist with merchandise pack-up and inventory reconciliation post-event
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive fan experience
Required Skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling and making change
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Reliability and punctuality for evening and weekend shifts
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems
- A passion for live music and entertainment
