Job Description
Are you a night owl with a strong work ethic and a willingness to get stuck in? We are looking for motivated and reliable individuals to join our Concert Teardown Crew in Solihull. This physically demanding role involves the efficient and safe dismantling of stages, lighting rigs, sound equipment, and other event infrastructure after major concerts and events. You will be working late nights, often into the early hours, as part of a crucial team responsible for clearing venues quickly and effectively. While heavy lifting is a core component, full training will be provided to ensure all tasks are completed safely and efficiently. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy hands-on work, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely dismantle and remove stage sets, lighting rigs, sound equipment, and other event installations according to supervisor instructions.
- Efficiently load equipment onto trucks and transport vehicles.
- Assist with general site cleanup and waste removal after events.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to meet tight deadlines.
- Operate manual handling equipment safely and responsibly (training provided).
- Attend pre-shift briefings and follow all instructions from crew leaders.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and stamina for heavy lifting and sustained manual labor.
- Ability and willingness to work late night and overnight shifts.
- Reliability and excellent punctuality.
