Job Description
Are you passionate about travel and helping others explore new destinations? Join AAA Arizona Travel Services as a Virtual Travel Booking Agent! This is a fantastic opportunity to work 100% remotely from anywhere, leveraging your customer service skills to create unforgettable travel experiences for our members. You will be responsible for assisting clients with all aspects of their travel plans, from booking flights and accommodations to arranging tours and cruises. While prior travel industry experience is a plus, we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success. Key Responsibilities
- Assist members with travel inquiries, offering personalized recommendations for destinations, flights, hotels, car rentals, cruises, and vacation packages.
- Book and confirm travel arrangements using various Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and online booking platforms.
- Process payments and manage travel documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client questions, concerns, and last-minute changes with professionalism and efficiency.
- Stay informed about travel trends, destination requirements, and industry updates to provide up-to-date advice.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain high service standards and achieve sales goals.
- Resolve travel-related issues promptly, offering alternative solutions and ensuring member satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience (e.g., retail, call center, hospitality).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers and strong internet navigation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Problem-solving aptitude and a customer-first mindset.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with travel booking software (e.g., GDS like Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
- Familiarity with various travel destinations and industry trends.
- Associate's degree or relevant certification in travel, hospitality, or a related field.
