Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Concierge to join our distinguished team. The ideal candidate will be a master of personalized service, anticipating guest needs and exceeding expectations to create unforgettable stays. This role is pivotal in delivering the highest standards of luxury hospitality, providing expert local recommendations, and ensuring seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure. Preference will be given to candidates holding Clefs d’Or certification, demonstrating a commitment to the pinnacle of concierge professionalism. We offer sponsorship for qualified international candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and personalized concierge services, including dining reservations, transportation arrangements, tour bookings, and event tickets.
- Maintain an extensive knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, cultural events, and services in Ogden and the surrounding areas.
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance and recommendations to enhance their stay.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests efficiently, professionally, and with a positive attitude.
- Build rapport with guests, remembering preferences and ensuring a personalized experience.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of guest interactions, preferences, and special requests.
- Represent the hotel with the utmost professionalism and discretion at all times.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Concierge in a luxury hotel environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Profound knowledge of local culture, attractions, and services in Ogden, Utah.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a significant asset.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and resourcefulness.
- Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with hotel management software (e.g., Opera) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Member of Les Clefs d'Or (Golden Keys).
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Experience with international clientele and cultural sensitivity.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong vendor relationships.
