Job Description

We are seeking a highly professional and dedicated Concierge Service Assistant to join our esteemed team at The Bellarine Collection Residences. In this crucial role, you will be the first point of contact for our discerning residents and guests, providing an impeccable level of service that anticipates needs and exceeds expectations. This position requires a proactive individual with a passion for luxury hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, to ensure continuous, seamless service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and assist all residents, guests, and visitors with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
  • Provide comprehensive information regarding property services, local attractions, dining, and events in Geelong and the surrounding Bellarine Peninsula.
  • Manage incoming calls, correspondence, and package deliveries efficiently and discreetly.
  • Assist with reservations for dining, transport, entertainment, and other personal services.
  • Maintain the presentation and ambiance of the lobby and common areas to the highest luxury standards.
  • Liaise with various departments, including maintenance, housekeeping, and security, to resolve issues and fulfill requests promptly.
  • Handle resident and guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, aiming for swift and satisfactory resolutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of services provided and special requests.
  • Adhere to all safety, security, and privacy protocols of the luxury property.

Required Skills

  • Proven exceptional customer service skills with a focus on luxury client interaction.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and property management systems.
  • Impeccable personal presentation and professional etiquette.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and discretion.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and public holiday shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a concierge, front desk, or guest relations role within a luxury hotel, residential, or high-end service environment.
  • Familiarity with the Geelong area and local attractions.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
