Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Condiment Bottling Assistant to join our production team in Brighton. This full-time, immediate hire position is perfect for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and keen to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment. As a Bottling Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our delicious products are bottled, labeled, and packaged efficiently and to our exacting quality standards. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to start a career in food manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor bottling and packaging machinery under supervision.
- Ensure accurate filling, capping, and labeling of various condiment products.
- Perform quality checks on products and packaging throughout the production process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to strict hygiene and safety standards.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and finished goods.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or product quality issues to the line supervisor.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20kg).
- Basic understanding of health and safety principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of food safety (HACCP) principles or a food hygiene certificate.
- Experience operating basic machinery.
